Archaeological Artefact Boxes

We are able to undertake small and large special commissions for artefact boxes, which cannot be obtained anywhere else.

We use two sided, Kraft paper lined card in 1500micron and 1900micron thickness for the standard artefact boxes. This material has a neutral pH, is acid free and carries an FSC chain of custody certificate.

The use of rust proof brass wire stitches creates extremely strong box corners, which guarantee the valuable artefacts will remain safe and sound, even when being transported around the country between archaeological dig locations, museums and educational establishments etc.

We are able to supply artifact boxes with full depth lids up to 130mm deep. Over this size and we produce specially ‘ended’ boxes with lids generally 1/3 the depth of the box.

Our artefact boxes can be used to store a wide range of items from a variety of resources, for example; hand-crafted tools, decorated tiles, pottery, toys, traditional materials, photo-packs, flags, text books and clothing.
